Update didn't work

Windows update on 4-25-06 did not fix my address bar problem. I do have a HP
all in one. I did the following and nothing happened.
1. Go to Start --> Control Panel --> Add or Remove
Programs
2. Make sure the "Show updates" box at the top is checked.
3. Find Security Update for Windows XP (KB908531) and click it.
4. Click the Remove button.
5. Click Finish to restart computer.

I removed the 4-13-06 update from computer. The windows update did not help
me with my address bar it is still greyed out. I also cancelled out my auto
updates and went to the notify one. The only thing left for me to do is
remove the share-to web folder. I feel I should not have to keep deleting
things out of my computer but Microsoft should fix what they really messed
up. Any other suggestions out there?
