As it says, its memory usage is light. Also its resources use (9x).
I've tested it for a while, and found that it is very stable, and
no bugs.
Note the max file size ceiling. Means a lot of files you cannot read.
However, for writing, I personally would never make it so far as to
reach that limit.
For reading smaller texts, I've enjoyed the layout that it calls
"writer's mode." My experience is that it feels restful on my eyes.

Regarding its RTF support, that is for richtext only, and not ole
(no pictures).
It is SDI. Each docoment you want open means a separate instance
of CW. (Fans of tabs-interface will be disappointed here.)
I'm a mouse-oriented user. It has essentials that I require when using
an editor. Internal drag-drop of text. And select lines by pointing from
the left column and clicking. What it is missing is "delete" from the
editor pane context-menu, which is an annoyance chez moi (it's too much
work for me to find my keyboard or reach high into menu bar).
The SR has something else basic that I require. Selected text is autofilled
into the Search field. So that your clipboard can be then used for Replace
field. Saves steps, this inital selected text into Search.
It is Green, other than whatever the installer does. Settings are written
to a file only in its local directory.
Check out the Tools page at that site, too. A few handy things. Bulk of
them are to interact with your clipboard, for reforming text. And those
clipboard-based utilities that author offers, than can easily be used on
their own, or with any other editors which, like CW, let you set up a
custom Tools menu.
