[2005-02-23] Password Corral v4.0 Final Available!

The final release of Password Corral is now available.

NOTE TO USERS OF OLDER VERSIONS: If you are using v3.x of Password
Corral, you should NOT uninstall it first before installing this
version. Password Corral v4.0 will not automatically find your old
password data since this new version stores information in the file
system instead of the Windows registry. Instead, install this version to
a new directory and use the Migrate feature located under the Help menu
to migrate your data to this new version. Alternately, you can import
your old data using a Password Corral v3.0 export file. In any case, you
should create an export file of your Password Corral v3.0 data before
using this new version.

Very nice thank you, had a quick run - looks promising!

All the best,

Promising, but still not enough to fit my needs. Too bad. I'm using
RoboForm, but I'm fed up with being limited to ten entries in the database.

Here are my problems:

1. On some sites, the field names are not compatible. For example, my bank
uses Acct # instead of Username. Password Corral doesn't seem to recognize
it, and although I can launch the url, it doesn't fill anything in.

2. My bank also requires I enter my zip code. A really good password
organizer should allow the user to create additional fields to accomodate
such security measures.

Thanks for the download. I agree, it looks good, but still comes up short.
