updatable form with nou-updatable sub or main forms

I have recently converted a file from 97 to 2003. I had a subform with a
query as a datasource and the query have a number of calculated fields. In
the 97 version I was able to use this main form and a tub control of another
form. Since the conversion, I have added another calculated field on to the
query of the subform and now when I run the form I get the message "No
current Record" and up with just a white box in the middle of the form. I
know that error message in not true because I have triple checked this and
the recoreds are all there when run the form on it own. My main ponit is,
the same thing worked just fine on the 97 version. I would very much
appreciate any help or explanation to this.

Well you can;t be sure it will run in acc97 as you say "Since the
conversion, I have added another calculated field"
What happens if you blank out the child / master link?

Thank you for your response. When I balnk out the child and master link
proparties, it shows all the records on the subform.

So this proves the query is not limiting the records as they show when you
launch the sub form by itself.

I'd suggest the master/child link is not as expected.

Try putting a Where condition in the query to filter the records on what you
believe the master link is set to.
