Unwanted Windows being Opened

Hi! I use Explorer 6 128-bit with SP1 and Q832894
updates. I would like to know how to block unwanted
windows being opened by the browser without my request
and that are very difficult to be closed.

To stop unwanted pop ups while using IE you can do one of
the following:

1) turn off javascript. This is a time-consuming process
and to be honest I've forgotten how to do it.

2) Get Googles Toolbar. It is free and has a built-in pop
up blocker. Works pretty well from what I hear.

3) Get a different browswer. I personally use Firebird
(0.7) though there are newer versions out as well. It has
the built-in pop up blocker. Since switching I've never
seen a pop up. Mozilla and Opera are two other browsers
which have built in pop up blocking.
