Unwanted toolbar and popup

I have an unwanted toolbar in my browser alongwith lots
of icons on my desktop and favourites. Also, there is a
popup at the bottom of the browser which is like a search
thing and cannot be disabled or removed. It calls itself
prosearching. How do I remove this thing as it has taken
over my browser and does not allow me to surf properly.

Also, I have a file called Lite Does.exe which was also
loaded onto my computer I guess alongwith this and cannot
delete it. I displays access denied.

Can someone help me please?

Download and run AdAware and SpyBot Search and Destroy. Both are free. Learn
how to protect yourself from it happening again. See a newsgroup like
alt.comp.anti-virus

I already have Spybot but does not catch anything. SO if
there is any other solution please let me know. Also
where do I find the newsgroup mentioned by you below
alt.comp.anti-virus
