We will need some additional information to help diagnose this. Does this
also happen in Safe Mode? When did the problem begin and what may have
changed on the server just prior?

our server will go into standby or hibernate for no apparent reason the
moment the mouse stops moving. we have dissabled all known auto standby
functions from the desktop and from the bios i am told. we are running it
on a gateway box. are there any sugestions on a course of action to keep
this from happening?
