Hello kind expert(s),

I have a word doc with a list of definitions in alpha order (which I've attached) I need to refer to sometimes. There are 13 pages-some definitions have been cut and paste and others I've typed in myself. However, much to my amazement, today, when scrolling down on page 8. I found that I have a complete screen shot of one page-still in alpha order-. Now, in order for you to see it, you may need to hit the delete key at the end of the text on the top of page 8 which ends with "kinds of entities are properly included" , which is what I did in order to try to move up text from the following page (e.g. it seemed like I had almost an entire blank page) When I say complete I mean just that, as if I had, with my insert key, asked the computer to 'print screen'. It can not be edited in any way. I would not particularly care since it is only for my own use except about a quarter of the right margin is missing. Anyone have any particular idea on how to correct this situation?

I have an HP laptop and use XP. (Granted my laptop was sent to HP a few months ago, but that was for a wireless problem that needed "re-inginered" [which I read as lose wire] but I don't think that could have anything to do with it-unless it happened when I used my memory stick to download everything again).

Kindest regards,
Linda

is the bookmark set to picture intentionaly?
there is a space before picture and last paragraph mark.
look at that document and tell me if that is what u want to get.

there is a option on Tools/Options/Edit named
"Use the INS key for paste."
i think that, that i mage was in your clipboard and you accidentaly pasted it.

Hope that helps

Hi Lazy (although you certainly haven't been),

Thank you so very much for your answer (I 'd almost forgotten about it). You know you're suggestion is possible since I cut and pasted a lot of the definitions and although not selected now, I may have done so before I had to get my computer fixed. Well, it certainly won't happen again now that I know. So again, thank you.
BTW, since I've got you here, do you happen to know if I use "track changes" on my papers how they will print out? Will they print out with the tracking info (which I don't want)?
Kindest regards,
Linda
