unwanted program

An unwanted program has lodged itself on to my computer.
Every time I open up this program, and its' shortcut
appear on my screen. I delete it and empty the recycle
bin , but it reurns the next time iI open up. HELP!!!
 
Sounds like ad/spyware. Do a google search for Ad-aware or SpyBot
Search&Destroy. Both are excellent programs that help you remove spyware
from system.
