unwanted program load

Hello. I have a few applications that load when Windows boots. I have
another account setup, and another instance of that program is also loaded
when the user logs on. What would be the easiest method for only allowing
the program to execute in the main account only? Any help is appreciated,
thanks!

While I have not use this on an account by account basis you might try
Autoruns from the MS Windows SysInternals site:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/ProcessesAndThreads/Autoruns.mspx
This will show all apps/etc. that load/run when you first boot and
selectively allow you to stop any that you don't want.

Put the program shortcut in the Startup folder (Start > All Programs >
Startup) of the main account.

Thank you for all the replied. What I was wondering was, is there a why to
edit the local system policies file to prohibit certain program from loading
when certain accounts log on. If I remove a program for the "service"
window, will it affect both accounts? Thank you again for your help.
