Oh Please help me. Somehow, when I was adding photos from my digital camera, whatever I have done, the photos have been saved to my Desktop display, and I just cannot remove them. When I say Desktop display, I mean where I can change the background on my desktop - any suggestions anyone - please email me at (e-mail address removed) Thankyou

Any .jpg photos saved to the computer can be used for the desktop wallpaper,
if you browse to the folder containing those photos.

You saved the pictures to the "My Pictures" directory all compatible
pictures in this directory are available to Desktop display. Create a
subfolder in the My Pictures folder and move your pictures to that folder.
Also it is a VERY bad idea to post your email to a newsgroup.
One - We aren't going to email you directly because we don't know if your
intent is malicious or not besides newsgroups are for everybody's benifit so
if somebody else has the same problem they can read this thread and have the
answer.
Two - Bots scour newsgroups to find email addresses. Once you post your
address here it is almost a guarantee that you will soon begin getting
malicious emails with viruses/worms etc. in them.
Better to add something to make the email invalid such as the word REMOVE or
something to that effect to the address. This way we could email you if
needed for some reason but the bots won't pick up a valid email address.

XP seems to fetch images from the sub-folders of My Pictures as well.

hmmm, must be a setting somewhere then becaue mine doesn't unless, of
course, I use Browse.

Yes. Another case, Sharon once posted that redirecting My Pictures solves this, but that did not work in my configuration.

I checked out all 4 boxes I currently have running and on ALL of them the
pictures in the subfolders are not seen by Display Properties. I'll
definitely be interested in finding out why that is.

I sure wish I knew what I did to break that (allowed My Pictures/My Music
to be moved with My Documents, period). It's funny though. Now that it's
gone, I sometimes miss the extra choices. ;)
