Version doesn't matter. The poster is asking in the wrong newsgroup.
This newsgroup is for Outlook which is a component of the Office family
of products. Outlook Express is a component of Internet Explorer.
Outlook and Outlook Express are NOT derivatives or siblings of each
other, nor is one a full version and another a "lite" version. They are
different products. Post to a newsgroup for Outlook Express. If your
provider's news server doesn't carry newsgroup(s) for Outlook Express
then use Microsoft's news server (news.microsoft.com).

Oops, never mind. After rereading the post, I see the inquiry was about
somehow accessing the My Documents folder from within Outlook (except
the poster never mentions how they tried to access their My Documents
folder).

When I use the My Documents link under the Other Shortcuts group in the
Outlook Bar, NO other windows appear (for me in OL2002). Instead the
contents of this folder appear *within* the panes of Outlook itself.
Maybe the poster is talking about accessing their My Documents folder
from Explorer (which would then have nothing to do with Outlook).
