What exactly is this unwanted option.

Bit more detailed information please?

It looks like a media player option but in funky fonts, definitly an unwanted
item, it spells windows media player with wing ding fonts and numbers
preceding it, weird.

This is a known bug..and MS is working to fix it.

This is actually the official Microsoft "Windows Media Player" toolbar.

The reason it looks weird is because Microsoft was testing localization
issues, and they do it by replacing normal text with weird-looking text.
It's nothing to be worried about, and won't be present in the final release.
