unwanted opening of Internet Explorer

Hi Dear

Pls help me abt this problem. After starting windows Xp
number of Internet Explorer is opening i can't stop this
to open is this a virus? if there is a slution pls give me
ur advise will be appriciate.

Sounds like some spyware might be sneaking in system.

List of few things that every computer owner should do to be bit more
"protected"

To remove viruses:
1. Run some updated antivirus scanner in your computer. If you do not have
one, GET one and keep it also updated

To remove most spyware:
2. Download, install, UPDATE and run Spybot Seek & Destroy
(http://security.kolla.de)

3. Download, install, UPDATE and run Ad-Aware (www.lavasoft.de)

To avoid some spyware being installed in the first place:
4. Download, install, UPDATE and run SpywareBlaster
(http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html)

To avoid spyware "call out" without you knowing it, and to prevent
somethings get IN:
5. If you do not have firewall, get one, install it. Some free firewall like
ZoneAlarm (www.zonelabs.com) will do in most cases.
