Unwanted Microsoft email messages.

Hi,

Whilst viewing Microsoft's download page for upgrades, patches etc I decided
to download these files and I now find that I get 200 to 300 emails from
Microsoft,MS message,inet, Master, Security, Mail delivery,Administration
etcetc ever 24 hours or so. Can someone please tell me how to unsubscribe
from this Microsoft web page. I'm using OE v6.

Apparently you got that page eMail because it looks like you got the virus.
You should go to www.symantec.com and view the page dealing with the removal
tool.

In the future this newsgroup is for Microsoft Access a database program...

People all over the world are getting this rubbish. They LIE - they
say they are from Microsoft but they are not. It's a virus; some of
the messages have the viral payload stripped out, many don't. Your
EMail address may have been harvested from a post to this (or some
other) newsgroup, but the messages DO NOT come from Microsoft.

You're not "subscribed to" anything (other than that you, like tens of
thousands of other people, have inadvertantly ended up in the mailing
list of some installation of this virus) and nobody can "unsubscribe"
you, unfortunately!
