Unwanted Icon

I just ended up having an ICON installed on my desktop that I now want to
get rid of. However, I can't. I can't even drag it around. It also is a
big larg icon; about an inch high and 2 1/2 inches wide. It is about a
radio station and looks like an advertisement.

How can I get rid of this sucker? I also looked in my DESKtop directory and
can't find it there. I refreshed the screen and it remains.

Spybot and Adaware. Download them, install them, UPDATE them, and run them.

I am not sure that will work. This Icon is something that was installed
because I tried to make a 'shortcut' on my desktop for this particular site.
But then THIS large icon appeared instead which is not clickable or
draggable etc. etc..

I have spybot installed now. I will try and run it and see what that
brings.

If that doesn't work, try rebooting into Safe Mode and see if you can
delete it then.
