Unwanted folder in "My Contacts" box

All of a sudden, the e-mail folder "For Follow Up" has installed itself in
the "My Contacts" box in the Contacts view. If I right-click on it, I can
delete it (which I don't want to,) but I am not offered the option to remove
it from "My Contacts."

How did it get there, and how can I get rid of it? I want it to reside in
the "Favorite Folders" box of the Mail view only.

It's Outlook 2003.

Right-clicking the folder in its default view shows the option of removing
it from FAVORITE FOLDERS but that doesn't affect its existence in the
Contacts view. It remains there.

I didn't do anything to create this problem. The only thing that may have
had something to do with it is that I've just installed Skype in this
computer.

Did you want to guess your Outlook version?
If you R click the "For Follow up" Folder in its default view (i.e., Search
Folders in Mail view) what are your options there?
"All of a sudden" leaves out the steps you used to create this problem.
Those would be helpful. Outlook doesn't do this by itself.

Somehow, the For Follow Up folder (which isn't a real folder, but a Search
folder) has been confugured to contain contact items. In your Mail vew,
open the Search Folders folder and delete the For Follow Up folder. You can
always recreate it.
