Unwanted Favorites!

About three weeks ago I noticed that some "shortcuts" keep
on popping up in my Microsoft Explorer's (6.0) "favorites
folder". I am 100% sure I didn't save them myself. I'd
seen this happen before, but was always able to delete
them and never give them a second thought. This time I
have tried to delete theme over & over again, but every
time I reboot my laptop they "Magically" reappear again in
my favorites folder again.

How can I get rid of these once & for and protect my
computer from letting this happen again?
