How did they get there Dayne?
If you opened the windows folder and then went to system
32 and chose files then chose to add them to your
favorites then you can simply delete them from the
favorites menu but im sure if you did add them manually
you would know how to remove them.
Are you sure these are genuine system32 files and not
trojan entries.Whats the name of the files in your
favorites menu that you want to remove,Im sure you know
you can right click any name in the favorites menu and
choose delete which removes them but ive not seen
system32 files added to favorites list before so cannot
be sure they are genuine files,Do you have protection
products installed like adaware,spybot,cwshredder etc..
and have you recently run a online virus scan ? if not
then maybe that would be a safe option
I gave some addresses a couple of questions above yours
called HELP...LOADS OF PROBLEMS for online scans and the
other removers if you need them,But if you just want to
remove them from the favorites list then right click and
then delete. If they keep coming back then something
malicious is probably installed so running the online
scanner and the other removers would help you identify
whats causing it.
Alot of malware around today places files into the system
folder but its not usual to place system files into the
favorites list.Could you say what the files are and how
long they have been there.Plus if you delete them do they
return when you reboot as these are all important things
to know.
Try the scanners and the removal tools and see what if
anything is revealed also if you can reply if you put
them into the favorites list and what some of the names
are then it will be easier to help you on this
