I have XP and use Outlook 2007 for my email. Since I changed to the 2007
version, some emails come through in coding instead of a readable/viewable
email. If I open the same email in Outlook Express or squirrel mail, it
comes through in the usual format. The unviewable emails are mostly from
travel sites I have signed up for. Can anyone tell me what the problem is
and how I can fix it.

Here's an example:

Putting extra line feeds in a URL isn't very helpful. Even after pasting your
image URL together I get nothing.

A common cause of what you describe if having your antivirus program
configured to scan incoming mail. That's simply not necessary and can lead to
this type of mail problem. Uninstall your AV program and reinstall it without
the mail scanning feature. You will still be protected.

Sorry. What you saw--the URLs--is what I get in my message. And you're
correct that clicking on them really gets you nothing. That was my
problem--an email full of useless links. Thanks for the advice about the
antivirus program. I will give that a try.
