My Firewall is showing occasional

From 244.1.0.0:1023146506 to 244.1.0.0:4

attempts.

The local subnet is 10.250.251.*

It appears that 244.*.*.* is an invalid IP address.

What might be going on?

Your firewall is performing its job and preventing unauthorized access.
You cannot prevent someone from making an access attempt, so your
firewall is alerting you that it is blocking the attempt.

I understand that.

But what is 244.1.0.0?

When I try to ping anything at all under 244 I get

C:\>ping 244.1.0.0

Pinging 244.1.0.0 with 32 bytes of data:

Destination specified is invalid.
Destination specified is invalid.
Destination specified is invalid.
Destination specified is invalid.

Ping statistics for 244.1.0.0:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss)

Seems like 244 is something special.
