Unusual content in sent email from Outlook 2007 with html

Hi,
When I send to an external internet email address the receiver gets gets the
following literal in their email "1024x768 Clean false false false EN-AU
X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4". This only occurs when I send as
HTML. If I send with just text it does not occur. It also occurs with or
without a signature. It also occurs even I send without any content.

It does not occur if I send to a local exchange email recipient.

Any clues?

Thanks.

does it happen with every html message you send to external recipients? it
sounds like something is causing the message source to display in the body.

Hi Diane, As far as i know everywhere. Well more than one person has asked
what is going on. I have also sent mail to myseff at gmail and it appears
there as well.

PS I forgot to mention I'm using Outlook 2007.

Thanks for your feedback.

Hi Pete

How about when your colleagues send out to external recipients? Does this
happen for them too?

Hi,
No others people have this occur. However I am the only one running with
Outlook 2007. Everyone else is on 2003.

Interestingly if I read my own mail sent myself on another ISP account,
read with Outlook 2007 at another location the mail looks fine. However if I
read the exact same mail message on say gmail via the gmail's web reader the
literal is there. It's as though the html rendering in Outlook 2007 knows how
to understand it's own html but other reading methods do not.

I will try to send the other way i.e from home to work (via gmail as the pop
server) with 2007 at each end. This may indicate if I have some thing odd
with my settings on one end or the other.

Interestingly, I am not alone with this. If I search on google to do get a
few hits. However it almost seems as though the problem is lanquage specific
as the others with the problem all have a language other than US english ....
hhmnnn. i.e my literal has "EN-AU" in it. So I'll also have a look at that
area as well.

I'm quite sure it's HTML code not rendering - why its not rendering is the
question. Sometimes it specific to one mail server or client - when
everyone is affected its harder to trace.

Are you using stationery?

I have this issue as well. Outlook 2007. It shows up in mail forwarded by a
rule to Blackberry.com on the Blackberry device. It does not show in the
Outlook 2003 mail of other users on Exchange 2003.
