unused user/computer accounts

Hi!

I have heard about tools for enumerating unused Passwords/Computer
accounts/User account in Active Directory. Any ideas on what programs that
might be?

This did not work on a Windows 2000 Domain?! Any other ideas?

Take a look at oldcmp on the free win32 tools page of www.joeware.net.

Much more friendly and SAFER than dsquery for cleaning up. Nicer output too.

It works perfectly fine on Windows 2000 or Windows 2003 DCs.

In order to use it on user accounts you simply need to use the -f option to
specify an alternate filter, specifically

-f "&(objectcategory=person)(objectclass=*)"
