Unused dll's

How can I stop XP from unloading unused dll's afer a time
period. Every time it does, I lose my CD Rom R/W drive
from memory, and need to reboot

I would consult the manufacturer of the CD drive for help with this.
This is a very uncommon issue and may be due to the drivers for the
device.
