untitled.bmp prob again

Hi folks:
Using XP Pro, when I choose to save an image from a web page, for example, I
am only given the option of savingas untitled.bmp.
This happened before, and I had to manually delete my temp internet files, I
think, but now I can not remember where they were.
Any suggestions?
