Hi,
For the last couple of days, we are having problems with people not
being able to connect and use the win 2000 terminal services. All of
them have XP installed and even after applying whatever is mentioned in
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=323597, there is no change. Now the
error message on the client side is different from that one mentioned on
the site. When looking in the event log, there is a warning mentioning:
"The terminal server cannot issue a client license"
To make it completely weird there is one machine (also win XP with same
patches and updates) which does not have any problems in connecting.
When any of the non working machines connect to another win 2000 server
machine first, and then try to connect to the bad one, then everything
is fine, like nothing ever happened.
Any idea on where to look for a solution, I am not an expert in win 2000
server, and therefore running out of ideas ??
Many thanks,
