Unspecified Error

When opening a MM2 project file, I get a cryptic "unspecified error message. None of the project's source files are loaded

Locale: US
OS: Windows XP Hom
CPU: Athlon XP210
Mem: 512M
Video: nVidia GeForce FX 520
Audio: Hercules GameSurround DVD 5.1
 
Hello there,

On the info its hard to say what the problem is. You can eliminate the
question of whether or not it is a codec issue by downloading the program
"Rename Codecs" its on my site in the downloads section. There is also a
very short tutorial on how to use it...it will take you about one minute to
fully understand all aspects...its that easy.

I would be interested in hearing whether it works for you or not.

Check the Problem Solving > Acceleration and Codecs page of my website. Most
of the crashes are resolved by changing either a codec or the acceleration
setting.... if it's not that, then the full Problem Solving checklist might
help.
