Unsolicited ads in seperate windows

I would like to disable scripting for Selective Sites, in
order to prevent unwanted ads from appearing in new
windows. However, in order to do this, I must type in the
wed address of the selected site. But this info is not
readily available from the window itself. How does one
determine the web address for these anowying ads?

Not sure if I understand your question, but if you're talking about popup
ads in IE, try http://toolbar.google.com - it's free. For banner ads, try
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm - it's free. For messenger service
popups, get a firewall.
