unsafe attachment

I sent myself a file and it had a name that IE explorer
said was unsafe then deleted it. How can I tell Internet
explorer not to delete an attachment. It wasn't obviously
unsafe as I created the file myself. I wanted to look at
the picture.
 
I assume you're referring to Outlook Express.

If so, click on Tools > Options > Security [tab]. Under Virus Protection section, uncheck "Do not allow attachments.....", then click on the Apply & OK buttons.
