unsafe attachment problem?

how can i disable whatever is not allowing an attachement
to be viewed? it says OE has removed the unsafe
attachment...YIKES...thanks...

with 5 clicks, starting on the Tools menu.
 
O.E. hasn't "removed" it. It has removed access to it. This can be
controlled through the program options in Outlook Express.

I'm having same problem with Outlook 2000. When I try to
lower security level, it won't let me.
 
I just installed xp SP-2 and can no longer open .exe
attachments with Outlook 2000. I tried to change every
security thing I can find, but nothing helps. It won't let
me lower the security level.
