Unreliable web page encoding

Can anyone tell me why sometimes a webpage I visit does
not use the right encoding view? This is a random problem.
It happens on many web pages I visit eg
www.singletrackworld.com. If I go into encoding tab I can
force it to show page correctly by ticking the appropriate
option.
 
Read this article. You may be missing some .nls files or your registry
setting is wrong.
