Dear all,

I have some Excel files with very large size (>20M) but
there are just little data in there. I found the problem
cannot be solved when I copy the whole worksheet to a new
file. However, when I just past the data, format, etc.
to a new file, the file size will be normal. After I have
tried several time, I found the file size will be normal
if I delete the worksheet. If I have just delete all
data/cells in the worksheet, the problem cannot be solved.

you can download a sample file at :

http://www.24gto.com/bug.xls
(if you cannot download it, I can email to you, just send
me your email)

I have pasted the data to sheet1 and then I delete the
all data from it. However, the file size is 235k. You can
try to delete all data/cells from it, the file size will
not be changed. I found if the sheet1 is deleted and
then create a new one (e.g. sheet4), the file size will
be back to normal (14k).

Can anyone to tell me why?

Please email to me: (e-mail address removed) .

Thank you very much!

B. Rgds,

Tony

I am wondering if there are any ISP's that give you a mailbox of 20 megabytes or more? With my
cable modem, the max is 5 meg. At the local university, it's 10.
