Hello. I am playing Unreal Tournament on an Athlon XP
2400, with win XP home. When trying to run the game in a
window so I can do other tasks, the time it takes to
switch from full screen to window is very long. Like
over 30 seconds. I used to have a Athlon classic 700 MHz
and it switched within a second or so, why dose the
faster computer slower?
Thanks

Hi Doug,

That could be many things. Your drivers may not be
as up to date, you might have other programs in the
background that are stealing CPU time away from the
game, your card might have become improperly seated
or it might be heating up more than before, even your
power supply could be at fault for not being able to
produce as much juice for the card as before since it
has to feed the newer, more powerful and hungrier CPU.
