Im addicted to this at the mo..but i want either a war game or similar to the above ...."New Game" to buy ...any suggestions ???..im downloading the Prey demo to suss out now ????
 
UT2004, especially online, is still good.

There's a million maps and mods to download though.

PREY is great, I really enjoyed it.

As is FEAR, good single player game and the newly-released multiplayer (your link, I do believe) is quite passable, I've been playing it quite a lot.

Company of Heroes looks good...and there`s Lara in Legend but maybe Prey will be the one ..i need help ..will have to be one of these i feel ..or world of warcraft as that looks and plays exceptionally ...my mind wanders (thanks Quad):D

theres not point in getting a demo for HL2, its a really good game, i suggest buying outright

Well, Mr Rush, now you know why I had the right 'ump that night, I'd just got news. Sorry.

ElderScrolls 4: Oblivion. I was seriously thinking about getting this cos it's been reduced to £20.00 at both GAME & PC World.

I mostly like fps's but have also enjoyed Giants, Mafia, Godfather, GTA3, Far Cry, Dungeon Siege and stuff.

Waddya reckon?
 
Flops..(Hope everything works out fine m8) i have just been playing the Prey demo , but its lacking a lot ..its a tad frustrating in the sense it doesnt grab you at the start. More like a bad adventure game . I gave it chances but for me its a no go :( .

Company of heroes sounds ok gonna try to get some shots or movie demos of it. Will post results later

Guild Wars particulaly looks appealing at £9.99 ;)
 
Guild Wars is probably £9.99 now as there has been an expansion pack released for about £20.00.

As it's an online game only, I'm wondering whether many servers will be hosting only the original game?

And where did you find Elder Scrolls: Oblivion for £14.99? Me want some of that :)

Far Cry and FEAR are both excellent, but there again, I enjoyed PREY as well ;)

Max Payne 2 is good as well, although there are quite a lot of film links between levels and it's a bit short, it is nevertheless a class game.

I am gonna try Prey again..the demo lets you play the first 5 levels, and as you think its good maybe i didnt give it enough time (i had visitors around disturbing me and i am still only on level 2 ) ;) ..OK jury still out
 
Did ya see the price of the Xbox 360 version £39.99 and thats with a fiver off....Think i'll stick to the pc for me gaming...:thumb:
