I have a problem with some printers on a Windows 2000 Server: the text of
the options in the Printing Preferences or the Printer Properties > Device
Settings windows is totally unreadable as it's represented as the Unicode
unprintable glyph...
This problem arise:
- with HP and Xerox printers;
- only with the Postscript drivers, not the PCL drivers;
- on the server and the clients, unless the driver has been locally
installed on the workstation.
The server is a Windows 2000 5.00.2195 with service pack 4 and I can
reproduce the problem with a Xerox WorkCentre Pro C2636 (Xerox Postscript
driver version 4.100.30.0U 2005.02.25) and a HP LaserJet 1320 (HP Postscript
driver 60.41.41.0)
If anybody has a clue...
Best regards,
Georges Martin
