unreadable lines

On some web pages I get text lines jungled over eachother in internet
explorer. Unreadable! Changing character size doesn't solve the problem.
What's this 'improvement' called?

How about changing magnification to 100%?

If Frank Saunders' good advice doesn't help, make sure you aren't using any
Accessibility options.

What version of MS IE?

Post some URL's for comparison.

To no avail. The rubbish just becomes magnified.
