Unread indicator alongside inbox and outbox folders

The bracketed indicators for unread mail inboxes or Outbox mail does not
appear to be working correctly. They are giving false information such as
unread messages when none exist or outbox messages remaining when infact they
have already been sent.

The bracketed indicators for unread mail inboxes or Outbox mail does not

When you have read all of the messages and it still claims there are unread
messages, click View | Current View and uncheck "Group Messages by
Conversation". This is a bug.
