Unread and Follow Up

I have a user that says his Unread in Outlook 2003 is gone, and was
replaced by follow up in the favorite folder view. My question is, how
can you get unread or follow up to even diaply? I don't have those in
my folder list.

find the Search folders near the bottom of the folder list - expand it and
select the folder you want on the folder list - right click on it and choose
add it to the favorites. if it's missing, right click on Search folders and
choose the option to make a new search folder. Unread is one of the
predefined options.
