unopened mail at start up

When i start up, the initial user account says i have
unopened mail, but all my mail is opened. Any ideas?

Hi

You can download TweakUI from
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp and when
installed go to Programs>Powertoys for Windows XP>Tweak UI - then go to
Logon>Unread Mail - disable it in the right hand pane.

it checks other accounts on MSN too, if you have friends
over that use your MSN Messenger it is most liekly
checking their e-mail, so what I would do is gogo
Start>run.. "control userpasswords2" [enter]>advanced
tab>Manage Passwords, and remove everyone but yourself
from the list.
