Unofficial PowerArchiver Update to Last Freeware Version 6.11

I understand that some folks have had some problems with the last freeware
version of PowerArchiver, version 6.11. (see a post on a bug reported a few
days ago in this newsgroup).

I stumbled across this "Unofficial Update to PowerArchiver v 6.11".
See http://exuberant.ms11.net/archiver.html

Maybe it will correct these bugs.

Tried it. Update does what it says....

It should be just fine. The .DLL files that are being updated are
freely available and that's the performance part of it. You could just
replace them manually if you wish (google), but a more modern looking
skin should be nice. I've used their unofficial Win98 SP1 and it did
exactly what they said it would.

Yes. It just updates some DLL files and adds a skin. It is virus free and
works fine. It also fixes the RAR problems PowerArchiver has!
