Hi I have a Windows 2000 server and I cannot run the
defragmenter because there is not enough free space. Is
there a list of file types ie tmp, or file names which
can safely be removed to free up some space?

Thanks Glenn

Have you run the disk cleanup?
Cleared the internet cache?
Compacted your Outlook and/or OE folders?
Removed files that really don't need to be there?

Most *.log files can be deleted but be careful, some applications (eg.
Oracle) use them for more than a basic text log file.
