Hi handi, as a computer technician, I see this issue
almost everyday. the steps need to take to resolve this
issue.
1.place the windows XP cd in the drive and restart the
computer...then press any key to boot from the cd when it
gives you this message
2.At the menu press "R" to run recovery console and when
ask for your administrive password "enter your password if
you have no password, press enter" when ask which network
you would like to log into, press 1 enter after that it
would give at prompt like C:\windows>..then type chkdsk /r
and enter........this should repair the problem and it
would take at least 1:00 hour..good luck
