OK I am getting somewhere nut my PC knowledge is lacking.
The above can indicate:
A problem with a wire - I assume it is not this as I have made no changes
A BIOS setting problem - again I have made no change
Or file system damage - this looks most likely to me
Can anyone say?
The recomended fix for this is to run chkdsk/r but it advises a chance of
losing data.
What is the chance of losing data?
Is there any way to retrieve data before going down this route?
I have 3 months of non-backed up photo's which I would like to make sure I
