unmountable boot volume

Just started...running windows xp. Boots up to blue screen with error
message "Unmountable Boot Volume". End of message gives technical message of
"Stop:0x0000000E (Ox82BEA30, 0x0000032, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)". Is this
repairable? Thanks.

What does "just start...running windows xp" mean? Did you upgrade from an
earlier operating system? Or is this a new computer? New install?
