I marked a 7 page document as final and then realized that it is not
complete. I want to unmark the entire document so I can complete it.
I'm using the Microsoft Office 2007 (Free Trial)

Hi Roxann,

You can use the same steps you used to mark it as final to toggle off the setting
Office files button=>Prepare document=>Mark as Final

For all those who search for this same response:

1. Click the Microsoft Office Button (top left button on the Excel window)
- you will see options like Save, Save As, Open, Prepare, Print, etcetera......

2. Point your mouse to the "Prepare" Option

3. Click On "Mark As Final"

I am taking a Wiley Plus Microsoft Excel course. I will quote the text:

"To enable editing for a document that is marked as final, Click the Microsoft Office Button, point to prepare, and click Mark as Final. The Read-Only designation is removed from the workbook."
