Unlocking a laptop

I have installed a new laptop at work that has a "locked down"
profile installed, i.e., the users can't right click, the Recycle Bin
and My Network Places is not visible, the Start menu is restricted,
etc. The problem I'm having is that the default setting when it goes
into standby, or hibernate, is on, and I can't get to it to change it,
so the user sees the message, "This computer is in use and has been
locked.", and the users have to ctrl-alt-del and enter the password. I
have the ability to remote in to the registry, but I don't know where
this setting is located. It is not a global setting, as I've changed
it as administrator, but it made no difference when the user signed
on. Can anyone tell me where this setting is? Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Get a copy of poledit off of the install CD and use it to unlock the default
profile.
