Unlock Computer- Can't access at all PLEASE HELP!!!!

I have a laptop computer with the Windows XP Home Edition. It has become
locked. I have attempted to enter a WINDOWS administrator name and password,
however, I am unable to type anything in the relevant boxes. Please help!!!

I think you're going to have to hold down the power button until it powers
off.

If you have a keyboard you could plug into it, you might try that just in
case.
