Just done a clean install of Vista Home Ultimate. All works perfectly apart
for the network. I use a Linksys WUSB54GS and I have no wired network in the
room I am using this computer in. There are Vista drivers for the device and
it install Ok. It connects to a Linksys WAP54G access point (or it should).

The PC detects the network Ok and I select private network and type in my
WEP key (I use 128bit WEP as there are some other devices on the network
that only use that)

When looking at the networks I am connected to it gives me the one I want
but also another "unidentified network" These two are one and the same as if
I connect disconnect on either both go.

I can browse the LAN from the PC but cannot connect to the internet. When I
run the trouble shooter it tell me I am connected to two networks and to
disconnect from one!

Any ideas?

Maybe I misunderstood the question and your connection setup; but it sounds
like you have both the device manufacturer's software AND Vista wireless
network manager connecting you.
Use one or the other as they may conflict.
