Giveitup

The mouse on my WinXP sp2 PC has started acting erratically. It is super
sensitive on click speed, will try to select multiple items, will close or
resize windows all by itself. I've scanned in safe mode with the usual
antispy programs: Spybot, AdAware, SpyBlaster, all clean. AVG and AVAST
antivirus programs also show no infection, although AVG show three files,
User32.dll, Shell32.dll and NTOSKNL.exe have changed. It doesn't say what
this means or when the changes took place. I would have said I'm at low
risk of infection since I don't go to porn sites or get much e-mail but this
seems like a virus to me. Anyone have any suggestions? TIA.

Try another mouse !

Your problems are NOT based upon a malware infection.
