Unknown phone calls

I keep getting phoned by the same phone number but the caller always hangs up when we answer. Anything on the net that i can trace the number as in 0208 is Outer London etc?
 
Ring provider mate. They take this thing very seriously now!

They will trace calls and inform the appropriate body to deal with it
 
Just found where it's coming from a friend who has a phone book with all the STD codes.
It could well be a tele-marketing company or such like.

I have the same problem have you a link for Ring provider ;)
 
If it's a marketing company or such like, then it can be dealt with by BT (assuming your phone provider is BT).

Sign up on the TPS register for to eliminate unwanted marketing calls.
If you suspect a malicious call then call BT on 0800666700 for advice.

I have only recieved one call from a 0800 number that hung up.. didnt ring back though :D

why am i always lucky when it comes to spam? :)
